We had downstairs neighbors that would constantly play loud ------- music everyday with the bass rumbling the whole ------- building. The young guy who lived there also sold drugs every night and you can probably still see him there today, standing eerily by the green power transformer box, next to the parking lot, every night.
Our AC never worked right so we never used it because if was a waste of money to run it if it wasn't even going affect anything. The carpet was also old and worn out and very uncomfortable. Also, any sounds you made went straight through the floors. Simply walking around the apartment caused our (hypof*ckingcritcal) downstairs neighbors to complain to us about the noise.
They also tried to arbitrarily charge us $100 dollars to replace one square foot of carpet and when asked to see the guidelines stating that this is the price, we were told that the manager made up the price at random. When we turned in the key to the office worker (Who was a temporary worker and apparently wasn't working there a week later. Actually, there were 2 different managers in the 6 months we lived there and a 3rd (temporary) manager when we went to dispute the charges that was only working for the weekend.) day after the lease was up we were told everything is fine and that was the end but apparently she didn't tell the manager that because the jerk tried to charge us $55 for changing the locks, claiming they had to change the locks because of the day late return, but in reality they have to change the locks after every tenant anyways.
On top of all that, after we moved out someone was killed in the complex and someone crashed through the main sign for the apartments.
This place is pretty ------ and occupied by a lot of ghettos scum. And to top it all off, they raised their prices to take advantage of the Katrina refugees that flooded the area after the hurricane.
Overpriced garbage is what this palce is.
