I don't exactly understand, and was extremely surprised to see the entries posted here, actual positive entries. In the two long, horrible years I lived there, I never met another neighbor that was happy with the place. Sure, the rent is affordable but that's about it. The office/pool area is nice, I think that's what sold me on the property, but because of most of the riff-raff living there I never fully got to enjoy that area. The ants never leave. Don't think that if you just secure your garbage and clean your kitchen they are going to disappear, but rather they move onto your bathroom soap.(I know, I never thought they ate soap!) My tub, bathroom ceiling and walls were infested, as were my neighbor's on all sides of me. While I'm telling you about the bathroom, oh man, the maintenence men do very shoddy jobs. The mold was unexplainable, and instead of properly scraping out moldy caulk, they caulked right over it, thickly, and in just days it would be growing through the new caulk. The mold is a huge problem there, and they do not know how to properly contain it. The staff is nice, until a new person was hired just before I moved out. Two new loud tenents moved in beside me. After politely asking twice for them to keep the music down after 2 p.m. (I tried to put up with it for that long) they stole my doormat just to be cruel. I called the office to ask about someone coming out to talk to them about the noise, no one ever did. I later found out though that it was the new office girl and the new maintenence boy that had moved in next to me! Of course they weren't going to do anything about it. This is most recent, so these employees still work there...beware.
One more thing...if you value your car, absolutely do not move in. There are break ins twice a month, if not more. They usually hit a line of cars in one night. I saw it every month I was there, I even witnessed some getting caught. This area of Arlington is not bad, and friend's in neighboring apartments are not having this problem. I believe it is the riff-raff that live there that are doing the crime. I really hope I've helped in giving you something to consider. 3mPoZ6gGN6wTPgNi4L2C
