DO NOT MOVE TO COLONIAL VILLAGE AT NORTH ARLINGTON

I have lived here for 8 months. In that time my truck has been broken into twice, I have been towed from my own reserved spot once, and today I found my full size spare tire was stolen from under my truck. It's ridiculus!! My husband and I are both college students at UTA and thought this area would be safer than downtown, mainly because of the security gates and so called nightly security drive throughs. The management told me that neither the drive throughs or gates should offer any "illusion of securtiy" and that it is my responsibility to protect my property. I am tired of making police reports that are ignored by the management. Our water bill (controlled by the apt) was quoted as around $24 a month before we moved in, but has run almost $100 a month since we have moved in. They continually run the sprinklers during all weather and with broken heads and then charge us the cost of water. No one is willing to help or to partially reimburse our almost $800 in extra expenses ($300 from the wrongful towing, that they admitted was a mistake). They are now raising the enormous rent from $600 to $700 and making no improvements. On top of all this our windows leak air and have cost us almost $200 a month in heat and electricity which as college students we cannot afford. In order to pay the rent we have gone many nights and days without turning on the heat or air. I am angry and helpless something has to be done with this property. Renaming will not change the continual problems this property has, DO NOT MOVE TO COLONIAL VILLAGE AT NORTH ARLINGTON!!
