I don't feel safe living here. My husband works nights and I cringe when he leaves. Gang memberish looking people roam around the complex, jumping the fence from other surrounding apartment complexes. There have been several car breakins and home burglaries, sometimes in broad day light. The back part of the property (Holly Brook side) is never kept up. The stairs are filthy, trash all over the place, maintenance takes forever to respond. The manager keeps up the part of the property around the office, but the rest looks trashy. I've lived here almost a year and there is still a large hole in the mail building that still hasn't been fixed! The gates are always messed up. This place has went down hill since I moved in. The office staff usually acts like they are oblivious to whats going on at their own property! I never see the management walking the property to see what it looks like. The only positive thing I've seen here is usually when a light goes out, its fixed pretty fast and they have put some more lights on the back part of the property. And I would say there is plenty of parking. Its to much of a dangerous place to have your family live here, maybe a single guy, but I wouldn't suggest it to a single female or families with kids.

I haved lived at this property since October 2007. There was aproblem from the very start. My apartment was not ready the day of move-in. I overlooked that, but then it seemed as if I had just awakened to a nightmare. The office staff pretends to care, but the ations prove they don't. They are money hungry people that will do whatever to increase the rent. I don't mind paying for quality, but these apartments I wouldn't recommend to a homeless person. The bug problems, stairs are very dangerous, the trash dumpsters are always full, the access gates never work properly, and I never see the office staff walking around to check the property out. The area around the office is really nice, however, don't be misled. The office staff is not professional, and often you call and leave a message and get no return call. The office staff doesn't appear to be knowledgeable either, the answer is always I'll find out. I was new to Arlington when I moved here, I can't wait till my lease is up and I can move as far from here as possible. I hate it so bad, I have considered breaking my lease several times. This is not the place to live. Please don't be fooled by the pretend specials, they add everything else to the so called specials once your lease is signed. Beware of Colonial Village at North Arlington!!!

Beware of Colonial Village in general. I live at another CV property and the story is the same. Most of the maintenance staff is great, but don't expect the office to promote preventitive maintenance on anything.
