Cooper Park Apartments

NIGHTMARE! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 8/21/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007   I used to work for an apartment complex in the area and I thought it was bad. Cooper Park makes that place look like Beverly Hills. This place is horrible! Nothing ever works. I have been here one year and we have yet to get our bathtub paneling fixed that we put a request for 11 months ago, a broken washer that we requested 3 months ago, broken garbage disposal that we requested fixed 2 months ago. They are constantly turning the water off across the entire property without warning people because they have plumbing issues that have been going on for a year!! When they do warn you they say things like "the water will be off starting at 9am to fix a problem and will back on shortly". "Shortly" ends up being 5 hours. And who decided that 9am is a good time to fix a water issue for an ENTIRE property!' They don't even have enough trash dumpsters for the property so every saturday night and sunday trash will be overflowing and looks like a foundation for a landfill. Its looks really nice when you have people visit you for the weekend. Ever heard of the musical "CATS"' I think they based it on this place because there are AT LEAST 30 stray cats that rove the complex and they love the weekends because they get to have an all you can eat buffet around the dumpsters. If you like suprises, inconsistency, cat farms, and horrible service this is the place for you. But why pay money for it' The nicest thing about this place is the sign on the entrance. But dont let it fool you because everything else is a disaster.
