This is not a safe place!! From: syoungblood79@yahoo.com Date posted: 11/11/2004 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004 1 response   Someone broke into my apartment on Holloween night while I wasn't there. The problem with this break-in is the fact that whoever did it had a key and was courteous enough to lock the door back when they left. However I have both keys to the apartment and the only other people with keys was the apartment complex. A police report was made immediately after I found out about it the next day. The owner was not at all concerned about my safety. I told him that maybe since maintenance has a criminal history he should question them, he laughed. 1 wk later I was confronted by the maintenance people in the office while trying to transfer to another apartment because they wanted to charge me $6300 to break the lease. I was threatened by the maintenance people and the owner expressed that he was not at all concerned and that maybe he would have them supervised every time they are in my apartment. Yeah, that makes me feel safer!!!
