Let me just take a minute to explain a few things not apparent to some of these people. First off, I'll admit that I work for this complex. We are always nice and helpful to people. However, all the people making complaints are the people who come in acting like they own the place. They have bad attitudes and do not extend the respect that we extend to them. Basically, no matter what has happened, or even what they did, they are the victims. People get mad because we follow the rules, and unfortunately, sometimes those rules do not fall in favor with some of the residents. These reviews usually reflect the resident's wanting the old staff back. That's because the old staff didn't follow the rules and let everyone get away with murder. If something is brought to attention, we do everything in our power to fix the problem. Remember, we have to follow the Texas Apartment Association guidelines. People get mad because we follow those rules and not what their irate tempers would like. Just remember, if you act appropriate, then we will do everything in our power to help you. As far as noise and other things after hours, we cannot control residents. We can issue lease violations, but by law, we cannot just kick them out. I think people should try dealing with people like themselves before they write their comments. I'm sure they'll have a different ideal on how these apartments really are.
P.S. Remember, everyone is the victim :)

You piece of shits, you asked your employees to start writing reviews so that this apartment complex's ratings would increase. If these were decent apts. then you wouldn't have to ever worry about the ratings dropping into the teen percentages like they do. People don't lie, even when I wasn't upset about anything in particular, I still agreed with what the reviews stated though I never imput one myself. So you can take your false review and shove it.

>>the people who come in acting like they own the place<<
And I suppose that since they are merely paying rent to live there, its ok to treat them like crap? Thanks for the insight on your property management philosophy.

I worked at this property from 2002 to to 2004. During the length of time, it was a good stay. After the management started to change, it was a place that was a little un-nerving to be at on a regular basis. The only thing that kept the "old staff" was the residents. They were all great! Wonderful teamwork, and we did follow the rules. that was before Equity Residential became so micro-managed the on-site staff and they were able to act without the corporate office overseeing all decisions. That is when I started to leave. When I left, it was heart felt. I horrible leaving my residents and knowing that they would not be taken care of.
The statment of "the people who come in acting like they one the place" is ignorant. The residents should be the NUMBER ONE priority. Equity prides themselves on "Making Life Easy", however, it seems that after I made my departure, they should pride themselves on "Making Life Harder".
