Forest Ridge Apartments, Arlington, TX - Since they have been bought out it has been an on going battle with the management team. They closed the pools & hot tubs for a month with no notice. The security gates stayed broken for a couple of weeks. Good luck calling the security officer with a problem, because there has not been one since they took over. If you call to speak to the manager they are never there, and do not return phone calls. We paid rent last month with a ceck no problem, and this month they said they couldn't except our check. Give them a cashier check from my bank the next day, and get home to a vacate for non-payment notice with added late fees.

i live here and ive seen both security officers, every night. they drive around on the golf carts and patrol the complex and kick people out of the pool after 10, i should know i was one of those kicked out. but i'm not mad because those are just the rules. when the pools were closed, it was freezing! they saved those stupid kids who tried to swim in 50 degree weather from getting sick. and i asked about the gate being broken, they had to order a new lock. most places don't even have security gates. when you pay after the 3rd you have to pay in a cashiers check and the late fees it's in the paperwork. i'm a resident here and i love it. it makes me mad when people come on here and act like everyone is out to get them just because they cant follow the rules like everyone else. i would definately reccommend that you live here. it is a great place. most of the people on here just cant pay their rent and thats why they have problems. and personally i think that people who cant pay shouldn't be here. sorry. ive paid my rent on time every month for the past 2 years that i've been here. i like the new management team. they've been really nice to me. ive had a few mainentance issues that got fixed and a mesquito and wasp problem but other than that i have no complaints except a few idiot residents like the one above who think they are an exception to the rules.
