I have lived here for the past two years and in the beginning everything seemed great. Low-cost rent for Arlington and as a single working mom and student this was a huge advantage. Previously managed by Equity Apartments I had no complaints with the exception of parking, but apartments have that problem. I felt safe by myself and late at night, but a couple of weeks ago some guy tried to sneak up on me from between some bushes! On top of this the quality of the new tenets since new management has taken over is definitely lower-class with a lot more loitering. The new management doesn't seem to jump to fast at fixing problems, when they first took over some exterior work of the property took place with replacing a retaining wall and filling pot holes and re-striping the parking lots, but the building I live in is literally rotting! The wood siding is falling off and algae is growing in all kinds of places outside! And to top everything off the market rent has gone up in excess of $200.00 per month... I need a two bedroom since my child is getting older, I was still contemplating transferring apartments, but I have a feeling things will just keep getting worse and now I just can't afford it. Definitely NOT WORTH IT for safety reasons and for the cost!
