My husband and I have lived in this complex for almost two years. We're GREAT tennants. Clean, courteous, know our neighbors, etc. We have an excellant reputation with the previous apartment complexes we've lived in before and have NEVER had any problems like we've had with this complex. Just to name a few BIG problems: 1.The carpet shreds every time you vaccuum. Period. Big, long strips of carpet that they either refuse to fix or will cut a big peice from your closet to stuff in the hole. They'll advertise that you get 'new' carpet when you move in BUT they're also raising rent over $200 from 6 months ago 2.Because the apartments are set on some of Arlington's hills there are MAJOR foundation problems including your doors sticking to the point where they have to come shave off your door to lock it, cracks up your walls, AND near your fireplace, AND outside your door that the Texas bugs just love, AND under your carpet so it buckles. Not only the inside but the whole outside stuctures of the building are rotting. There are MULTIPLE places on the grouds where the landscaping guys have completely gutted a tree or bush, and just left a huge pile of dirt or the roots out 4. There are a ton of cats here! It's crazy! They sit on your car, they whine at your door, they dig up what little flowers we have, they are annoying! 3. There are a ton of shady characters in the complex but the WORST is that just yesterday we got a notice about a SECOND sexual criminal moving on the property. The DPS has to notify us and this is the second guy in the last three months that has moved in here. I don't personally have kids but I DO go running every night and I have had to stop running at the complex because there have been three incidences that I've been stopped by someone, either needing money, needing me to help them in their apartment with groceries OR a group of shady guys who wanted to ask me some questions.....NO THANK YOU! We are getting the heck out of here. 4. The new owners of this great establishment are horrible. They fired all of the old staff and brought on new girls, who aren't a day over 20, who have no experience, no tact, no professionalism, etc. They are rude and have no idea what customer service is. 5. Should I even go on' Don't move here! There are a LOT of other apartments around the corner that are really nice...check them out! I'll probably write again because I've got so many other stories to tell....good luck with your search, hope you find something that fits perfect and I hope I've steered you away from making a big mistake!
