I'm not going to say this place is the best apartment around, but I'm not paying for that either. There are plently of apartments that charge a lot more than these do. Every maintenance issue I've had has been resolved immediately. I've had my issues here, for instance I had termites, but they took care of it that day. Its Texas, stuff like that happens. As for the guy with rats, rats come from being uncleanly. That was his problem. All I'm saying is this is a good place to live. You could be in a lot worse. You could also be in a lot better. But you'd be paying for it too.
