I'm a current resident of Huntington Meadows. I have only been here for a few months, but I haven't had any problems. Maybe things have changed since you guys lived here, but I like it very much. I don't have problems with rats or any other critters. The leasing staff is very friendly. Maintenance was a little sloathful about getting my garbage disposal fixed, but other than that I don't have any complaints. I'ts very quiet; as a matter of fact; I have never heard a peep fromany of my neighbors. I've only seen them once! There is no loud music, and even though the complex was built in the 80s, you gotta love the fact that all the cabinets and drawers are made of solid oak. I got a pretty decent deal on the rent, my water bill hasn't been over 35.00 (we have washer and dryers here), and quite a few rennovations have been done. Not to dispute anyone's personal findings, but I think it's a great place to live, and I plan on renewing my lease.

Of course you like it, you're the manager. It's no secret this review was written by Julie Kuhar in an attempt to raise the rating. How do I know? One of your maintenance guys (who's name I won't disclose so he doesn't lose his job) told me. Not to mention everything is a lie. Water bills are about $60 a month for a one bedroom. How they went from $18 a month to $60 when the new owners took over, I don't know (although the newly remodeled office might answer that question). There are plenty of loud car stereos at all times of the night. Rats, possums, raccoons, etc. Plenty of things are falling apart: leaky ceilings, tiles falling apart in bathrooms, roaches, gang bangers, drug dealers, etc. Not a good place to raise kids. Most of the long term residents have left. The previous ownership and management were great. The new owners and management don't give a hoot about anyone here, just their money. Please understand, I'm not someone looking to bad mouth this place. I'm just trying to save you the heartache and anger I've had to deal with.

Well the water bills went up because this new management decided they were going to change the price of the allocation to which they were responsible for from them paying 25% to them paying 5%....it is in your lease from the old company that we were only responsible for paying the allocation of 75%...and it also stated that the allocation was not to change unless we agreed and signed a new lease....that is also in your lease...so in a way they are not only the worst apartments I have ever lived in...with the most unprofessional staff I have ever dealt with...but they are defaulting on our leases...and with "in-house billing" I am sure we are paying for all these "wonderful" renovations..words cannot express how excited I will be when the lease is over!
