We've lived here for about a month and have had so many problems with our apartment that we've only actually stayed in the unit for about half the time. I will agree that maintenance does take forever and things only get done after reminding and hounding the management time after time.

As for safety, we moved in because of the gated community... which is not so gated. The gate is very old and will sometimes just stop working, other times the gate will be left open because management is afraid it will stop working. Several people will follow each other in or go in the exit. Basically the gate is not a protection but a pain.

I haven't had a problem with high water bills but our electricity bill is outrageous. During the time we were unable to live in the apartment we turned off the heat and when we were in the apartment the heat was on very low. We do not have a TV or a computer (because of all the problems in the apartment we haven't even moved in all of our belongings) so I have no idea how our one bedroom apartment can be $200 for one month. Has anyone else had problems with the electric bill''
