I signed a 1 year lease, too, but im stuck until March '08. Everything from the previous review is ABSOLUTELY TRUE!!! Both of my vehicles were stolen (luckily, one was found). There are plenty of car thefts and burglaries. And, the other review mentioned maintainance....who are they' The only time I saw them was when 4 of them and one of the 3rd set of managers (yeah, they changed management about 3 times this year) showed up at my door tell me that I owed over $1000 in rent and late fees. They had the nerve to tell me I hadnt paid rent in 2 months! They picked on the wrong young one, though, I keep everything...all receipts!
The walls are paper thin...you can hear anything that is slightly louder than your natural tone, clearly. The roof doesnt seem sturdy enough since i can hear 1 of the many stray cats walking up there at any given time. Dishwasher, unusable...and my stove just went out today! The air conditioner leaks onto the patio causing moss, so i had to start putting a small trash can down to catch the water....this is a horrible place to live!!! I could go on and on and on and on, but its time for me to leave work! To be continued....
...The previous messege was posted 01/09/08, it is now 01/18/08 and my stove still isn't fixed. I told the management about it on 01/11/08 and had to call again on 01/17/08 to remind them. They did send someone out immediately...for what thats worth...he walked in opened the oven, closed it, turned on the oven, turned it back off and said 'yeah, it doesnt work, so im gonna have to go get the part for it'...are you kidding me! but that wasnt it he also said, 'im going to lunch right now so it'll be about an hour before i can get back.' Needless to say, he never came back!!! And to sum up everything else...all of the office staff are very rude, the lights in my breezeway have not been fixed since ive been there and is very dark at night, they are infested with stray cats, roaches, and i saw one lonesome rat oneday. And thats all i have to say about that!!!

The Lynd Company (the company that manages L'Atriums on the Creek) has a well-deserved reputation for terrible customer service and for trying to screw their renters over in every way possible. Numerous complaints have been filed about them with the Texas Attorney General's Office of Consumer Protection as well as on apartment review websites like this one and on consumer advocacy websites like ripoffreport.com (see http://tiny.cc/MkEJI for details). The people at the Lynd Company are just a bunch of slumlords who want to squeeze every last cent out of their renters.
