This place is a disaster. Since I have moved here (in Oct. 2005), my toilets have been in and out of use. In fact, they were not working for the entire month of MAY! I would have to drive to the gas station down the street to use the restroom. A WASTE OF GAS WITH TODAYS PRICES!!!! The maintenece man FINALLY came to look at them after a month and told me that it was MY fault. He said it was what i put down my toilets!!! All I put down MY toilets is human waste, isnt that the same for you'
Oh and the ants, termites, and roaches. DISGUSTING!
OH! And the maintenence man.... he is a joke. Told me that every time someone calls with a problem, he has to drive 30 miles to the apartments away from his family.... NO NEED FOR EXCUSES!! JUST FIX THE PROBLEM! Thats what the management is supposed to pay him for, right' But he doesnt even fix things. He "ghetto-rigs" everything.
My air conditioner - For the last 3 months, my apartment (downstairs, small 2 bedroom) has YET to go under 80 degrees. I called and asked for him to come check the refrigerant and he said that it was fine and that each apartment only gets so much air. BULL****!!!!!! My electric bill for this month was $300! But yet, my apartment has been an oven. I ended up putting foil on the windows and still had no luck with the heat.
Just recently, I had the attack of the BLACK mold. Where the sewer is on the side of the building, it has a slow leak of poop water into my closet wall. Black mold over took the entire closet. Filled up the closet foor with poop water and it has begun to make its way into the bedroom. THEY WONT FIX IT! I have a 15 month old son that was breathing in this mold. We ended up just moving out without notice to the management. I couldnt risk my son's lungs getting infected with FILTH!
The management.... ugh. I dont even want to go there. RUDE & INCONSIDERATE. They give you dirty looks. Just because I have two facial piercings, I was stared at and spoken to with total disrespect when trying to present my problems with my apartment. Also, one of my roommates moved out, so I had their name taken off the lease. Since then, anything that comes to me from management, still has ONLY my roommates name. I contacted them about that and they said they have no record of me taking them off the lease! BUT I HAVE THE COPY OF THE SIGNED CONTRACT WHERE WE TOOK THEM OFF!!!!
Im trying to get out of my lease for lack of maintenece now. Its costs me $750/month for nothing to ever work or get fixed. This place is so many horrible things that I cannot even say on here. DO NOT MOVE HERE. And if you already do live here... MOVE OUT IMMEDIATELY!
