This is not a place to raise children. or even think about moving to. it seems like every other day theres a new notice on my door stating that to be aware there is another crazy person robbing people and breaking into homes. My a/c unit has not been working for 2 weeks now and they still have not fixed it. when everytime i tell them so, they say we will have someone on it asap. thats BS! Our newborn child is sweating in the night not to mention the day time and they say put a fan in his room when we already got 2 in there! You cant go swimming becuase the pool is always either to green or its closed due to "maintiance". My bathroom cieling was infested with black mold froma leak upstairs and they sent in the painters who Scraped it off and painted over it and told us to call them if it comes back! instead of repalcing the sheetrock. They spent too much money on painting the outside of the aparments that crappy brown, instead of fixing peoples a/c's and leaks and other things. The list goes on and on about how much we have delt with here, if we didnt have a kid and had the money we would be out in a heartbeat. The manager has her whole family living there and they dont seem to have a problem with anything in there homes. But what about us' Not to mention we live in a jail cell and we are spyed on 24/7. When something happens we automatically get the blame for it even if we aren't home. The office management does not know what confidentiality means. They put peoples notices of unpaid balances on the outside of peoples doors. And believe me everyone in that complex knows what you haven't paid before you even get home to read the notice. It is just all in all the worst place to live.

haha..ok higgins family, then move out! and stop leaving your baby at your door when you are hanging out by the pool and getting drunk. that's great parenting!

Well, looking at the above response to this review, it appears that the office staff (Connie the manager) is continuing to write fake responses in an attempt to blame their own incompetency???s on others and cover up the truth about this complex and it's staff. The office staff at the Laurels of Sendera, (especially the manager) is absolutely disinterested in the residents and is among the rudest I've seen. However, in all fairness, I must say that Jose the Asst. Manager makes a diligent effort to handle resident problems and issues in a courteous and professional manner. Although I'm certain that his hands are somewhat tied by the manager, I believe he is genuinely interested in the residents issues and problems, and is always a pleasure to deal with. With respect to the fictitious response posted above, I believe the readers are more than intelligent enough to see thru the dishonest attempt to mask the truth. Further, what sort of professional person would leave a response like the one posted above, anyway? I don't think the response addressed any of the issues sited in the rating. Instead, it appears to be a dishonest attempt to smear the person writing the review. It's also worth noting that the purpose of this website is to rate the quality and performance of apartment complexes, not compare and contrast the parenting attributes of its residents or their habits as related to social drinking.

Im not the one wwho posted this review but I know who did and damn sure see that connie is the one who made that rude ass personal attack and that is a perfect example of how immature and stupid that ----- is. I never knew their last name like only management probably would but I know this family and can honestly say that they have never left their baby at the door while they go to the pool much less ever left him unattatended at any given time. Hell the mom never even goes to the pool and very rarely do you even see her outside her apt.you wanna get personal ----- then tell your sister to feed her daughter and quit leaving her to care for herself and depend on the so called drunks at the pool to feed her. That poor little girl has no one to care for her and all she wants is a litle attention and sad to say but its the ones you call drunks that babysit her and make sure she eats. Take care of your own ---- before mouthing off lies about others you ------- -----.Only Connie would refer to this family as the Higgins cause i doubt any other residents know their last name. Its so apparent that the residents hate you and have no respect for you. Go get a ------- job at walmart where they allow you to treat people like ---- -----. Higins family i hope you did not take her rude ass comment personal becuase she is a miserable manface ----- who everyone knows has to put others down to make herself feel better
