I should have known when we looked at the apartments to begin with that we should not have moved in. When we first looked at the apt. their was a man in the office complaining about his car getting broken into and the manager could have cared less. After we moved in our neighbor behind us would yell obscenities and one of the times I called the police they said that he answered the door w/ an axe. After numerous complaints to the office they did nothing. Then one day we were in the kitchen and smoke started pouring out of an outlet and maintenance came to look at it and claimed everything was okay. Then two days later smoke started pouring out of the socket again and melted part of our phone. Needless to say maintenance still did nothing to correct the problem. My husband opened the outlet and found a shorted out wire and when he confronted the manager about the problem she claimed it was probally fine two days later and this was due to "act of god". We will never live there again. Manager reminded me of an old hag. Also when we tried to contact the owners of the community no one ever attempted to call us back.
