I have lived in this complex now for the last 20 years. I wore out and efficiency and now a large one bedroom. This place has gotten me through difficult times in my life. I have seen a lot of people-owners, managers, assistants, maint, an the list goes on. It has been affordable, easy access. I certainly applaud the assistant manager now. A very caring person to all residents. If the old fool that wrote the last review most likely didn't pay rent on time- they would not have a problem. Construction-yes the complex needed a major facelift and looks great! I am moving to another location close, just to change my outlook on life. Oak Forest has been my "comfort zone" so long that I see that I need to spread my old wings. Bottom line- I really leave with much regret. If the new complex doesn't treat me like Oak Forest has, I definitely will move back! gkZ41df9CgXQPfm8K2A7
