It started out pretty good. My family and I lived here for 5 years until we moved into a house. I liked the first management when we first moved in these apts. They were very friendly and knew us by name. They would assist us in whatever we needed. The second management crew knew us by face and name and were very helpful. When I started having health problems, they worked with us on rent and understood the issues we had. They did not evict us and workded with us. The next couple of management turnovers were terrible. There were no ifs, ands, or buts. You had to follow there rules and have everything done right then. The maintainence was great at first. Then they brought in these people who did not care what kind of work they did and how they did it.
They did give me a new wahser and dryer when it broke down. When I had bug problems they had an exterminater come out quickly. Then things started to become very lacx. The first management worked with me to lower my rent when I became ill and the new management said that was a no, no. and took it right back up. The current management is a hard azz and does not want to hear any stories. They do not care what goes on in your life. You beter have the rent money. The complex started doing construction about 2 years before we moved. This kinda made us mad because they started remodeling apts. If you were in a unit you could not get any of the new upgrades. The upgrades were new hardwood floors, new appliances in the kitchen, bathroom renovations, or things such as that. That was done when we moved out of our unit. The heating and cooling sucks in the apt. The back side of the apt is fine. The front room was cold in winter and hot in summer, you could never get it to be one in the unit.
They did put some kid friendly play areas in the complex right before we moved. The play area and the patways were a nice touch to the property. I do have to say I did have a brick trown ito my brand new car windshield 2 months after having it and then 1 month or so my husband had his radio stolen out of his car. Other than that we did not have any issues with security. Just be careful though.
It can be a nice place to live. Just be careful when choosing this property to lave at. They tried to trip when I was moving out and break my lease.
