Good, Quiet, Safe Community

This apartment complex is great. Small community with good sized, up to date apartments. You don't have to worry about any crime. In the 8 months I have stayed here I have yet to hear about any police reports and the staff is really good.

Pros: The apartment size. For only $895 a month I was able to get a 1021sq ft apartment with vaulted ceilings and wood floor kitchens. The bathrooms are very nice and adequate. Since its a small community the staff is very attentive to your needs and they are friendly. Good location in Arlington and is kind of hidden.

Cons:

1. The pool was underconstruction most of the time i was here but they are completely remodeling it and should be ready by spring.

2. Parking sucks after 8pm. You will have to park by the front office if you come home late, but the complex is so small its only a 3 minute walk at most. The maintenance guy seems to occupy most of the parking spots with what it seems to be 5 cars he owns so if you live in the back good luck finding a spot.
3. High Electricity Bills - in a two bedroom where me and my roommate are usually gone half the time our electricity bill has never been below $180. And that is with us turning the A/C off for 2 weeks.
4. Noise Complaints - some how we received 2 noise complaints even though we never got a notice for the 1st one. Either the neighbors have real sensitive ears or they have us confused with some other apartment b/c we are usually very quiet.
5. Premature Eviction notice - I come home one day and an eviction notice is posted on our door even though me and my roommate paid before the actual date the rent was due. They are supposed to give you 3 days before a late fee is added and after a week you are supposed to be evicted but it had only been 2 days! They were able to clear up the mistake that day so no harm there.

Overall this place is great and I might move into a one bedroom once my lease is up in February

You work for the complex don't you? Up until last week the pool was completely closed down for 2 months. Ive counted the maintenance guys trucks, trust me he has 4-5. There is an off duty cop here which is good and there hasn't been any crime. This is Oaks OF ARLINGTON not Arlington OAKS. completely different places
