we were looking to move somewhere so we could save a litte money to put down on a house....NOT WORTH IT!!! i went on this site and read the previous reviews. i knew it had been a "rough" place before, but for some reason i thought it had improved. was i ever wrong! our apartment was located facing the outside of the complex, so we didnt have to really deal with the parking lot traffic or much of the inside mess, but regardless, i would have rather lived at the YMCA. i could write pages about how crappy this place is, but i will just note the main things. thnaksgiving weekend, my car got keyed and dented. MLK day, our apartment door was kicked in IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY and robbed. every piece of jewelry we owned, every dvd, our computer, all of my purses and many other items were stolen. IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY! our neighbors said they heard it happen, but did they think to call the police' of course not.they probably would have been deported..the apartment manager said we could not break our lease. she showed no emotion at all when we reported it to her. she said "well i have been broken into twice where i live, and they wont let me leave..." WHATEVER. the new apartment staff and management are USELESS! they are making cosmetic improvements and raising the rent (hopefully to drive out some of the garbage that lives there) but it will take years and a whole new staff before that place would be good enough to serve even as a prison. there are not enough police officers in the area to respond and monitor the activity and the security patrol is also too understaffed to handle situations where multiple people are involved. PLEASE dont be fooled by any imporvements that are happening, and learn from my costly mistake.we broke our lease anyway and left 5 months early! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!
