first off let me begin by saying...AAAAAAAAAAhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! my family and i have only been here 1mo. let me tell you, it feels like we are in hell. management kept skirting around us seeing the apt. prior to signing the lease, i insisted so she reluctanly went with it since i was not backing down. so we get to the apt. we put a deposite down, and let me tell you, i thought i walked in on the ---- roaches place, cause they were every where. she appologize out the you know what cause i refused to move in it. she had the exterminator to "come out and spray" and i also went back that evening and set off FOUR bombs. came back the next day with my things, and the roaches were pissed, they called for back up apparently, cause the bombs, and spray didn't do a thing, they were on the ceiling, the floor, jumping off the walls, i kid you not! i went ballistic in the office and demanded my money back or another apt. all they had avail. was a smaller one. at this point i am about to explode, because i needed to get my kids settled before the new school yr. started. i was cornered into taking the much smaller unit. when we arrived,

the ac did not work, and still doesn't may i add. (afraid to see my 1st elec. bill) the water went out twice,

sockets don't work like a guessing game on which one will work today

both bathrooms had clogs in the sinks, and tubs (spent $ at home depot to get it out)
did i mention its HOT! (had to buy fans $$$)

the shower heads are useless, more water goes down the drain than through the head

no lighting in any of the rooms, had to buy lamps ($$) main. did suggest that we not turn on any lights during the day though so that the mini apt. can stay cool, hummm

oh, my daughter got locked inside the apt. because the door knob just stopped working, maint. had to climb up onto my balcony, and only put a new knob on when i had to roll my neck at him, and explain to him that they had better be glad this was not an emergent situation where she needed to exit the apt. he came back with a new one.

why does maint. show up on a opposite day and time that was scheduled' and why does he show up with just a screw driver' WTH and then i have to wait for him to come back with the real tools

my funiture does not fit into the mini apt. so we had to spend more $ on storage

the air is on 65 when i need to cook, and i still sweat like i'm in a soup kitchen

i have seen the police out here at least 3xs a week

cars were broken into the night before we moved in

the trollops, and hoodlums come out when the sun goes down, cluttering the stairs, playing music, making out in public, walking around looking crazy, so i look crazy back lol if i dont laugh, i am going to go nuts.

1mo down, don't know if i can make the next 11, or even the next 1mo. i have never hated to come home from work ever, but i have to, cause i cant leave my children alone to long in the ammityville minie apt.
they tried to make right with us, but its a little too late, they dropped the ball.
if they ever wanted to bring The Wire back on tv, hey tell em to come here, for real

did i mention that this dump that i had to settle for is the "MODEL" LMFAO!

do not move here, big let down, and not SAFE
