No Way!!

I moved in to this apartment complex in July and have nothing but problems from day one. Before signing my lease the staff shows you the lovely pond that people fish in with the cute little ducks walking around all over the place. It all seems very appealing but as soon after I realized the ducks quack early in the morning and it stinks like fish when I get home some evenings. The day I moved in the walls had not been painted and the carpets had not been cleaned from the previous tenants. The front door would not stay closed unless it was bolted, and even so you could jiggle the handle to break in. The countertops had nasty stains all over them and the faucet handles in the bathrooms were so dirty I didn't want to shower (I wouldn't even consider sitting in the tub for a bath). My toilet leaked water all over my floor constantly, the AC unit only blew air in the bathroom, when it rained I had to cover all of my things because water dripped from the ceiling. I submitted work orders for all of these problems but no action was ever taken. The staff is very friendly but not too bright. My roommate was also on my lease and was almost denied another apartment afterward because when they called to confirm rental history The Parks staff told them she was not a renter. When I tried to get another apartment they had plenty of time to release rental history and on my move in date it still had not been sent. It was a huge disaster and I would like to save everyone the heartache from this complex.
P.S. That smell you mentioned is all too familiar!!
