I have lived at parks for three years now BY THE DUCK POND and never had any problems. The mantainence is incredible, the office staff is wonderful, and I couldnt be happier. Having worked in the apartment industry, I know how hard it can be to run a property, especially as big as Parks is. I also know what to look for in a home. If this place were as bad as you "former residents" made it out to be, I am certain that the city would already have shut them down. I have also found in my experiences that 99% of the time, people who do not pay rent are the ones that complain about stupid little things. These apartments are over twenty years old, you cannot expect everything to be new and perfect. I am sure if you all would pay your rent, you could probably go to an A+ property. However, you are wanting an A+++ property at a B property price.

P.S.
It is kind of amusing how all of the postings have a "p.s." on them.

OK--do you work for this company or something? I DO pay my rent and I pay an awful lot to have my property damaged 2 weeks into living here. On top of that, receiving no empathy from the apt staff, makes this place horrible to put up with. Sure, the grounds are nice, the upkeep is decent; but I'd rather not have to worry about my life and property at night or each time I walk the whole 5 ft. to my parking space. They can keep the duck pond--I want my peace of mind back!
