I have lived in this complex for a year- thank God my lease is up soon!I cannot begin to tell you how horrible this place is. Even though it is under recent new management, they are as about as incompetent as the last set. I'm not one of those people who blames others for their troubles, but these people are complete idiots! I'm sure I appear to them to be a very young and unknowing twit, but a few things are just common sense:
1. All apartments should have HOT running water-especially if you pay a water bill!( this was not the case for several days this summer in the Pavilion) When I called on several occasions to complain I was made to feel like a complete psycho! Trust me I have a Masters Degree, I'm sure I can figure out the difference between hot and cold at 6:00 in the morning and 3:00 in the afternoon! When I went to complain about the situation -the poor little desk clerk began to cry. I suppose I offended her- but I was offended by cold showers!
2. If it's my parking space covered in my rent, the Neon parked there should me towed by the complex. Instead I was told to call the tow truck myself! The only problem with this is that tow companies don't come out to complexes that they don't have contracts with.
3. If a refrigerator leaks, it should probably be fixed immediately-not seven months later after you threaten to break your lease and you have had to replace a water jug everyweek to collect the water that ruins all of your food!
4.Maintenance men should do maintenance work, not shamelessly flirt with female tenants all day!
5. When it rains outside, water should not be found in your closet!(enough said)
Trust me, there is so much more that I could write here- but the more I type the angrier I get at the Pavilion. It is an evil place, and I feel sorry for all of the Evacuees that just moved in. They would probably be better off moving back to New Orleans- either way they would probably still get wet!
