I'm not one of these people that's hard to please and is never happy. I'm very easygoing about things. But I can tell you, this apartment is the worst place I have EVER lived.
1. Murder investigation down the block (just check the Arlington police department crime statistics).
2. Assault in the front office. Drove home one day to find crime scene vans parked in the front of the complex and the complex crawling with cops. A couple of days later, received a note on the door stating a resident attacked a lady in the front office (the front office workers are very unhelpful and unfriendly but violence is not the answer!).
3. To deal with the overflowing amount of trash, the complex thought it would be prudent to bring in 3 tractor trailer sized garbage cans and then not dump them for 2 weeks (I wish I was exaggerating). This become a complete eyesore and a horrific smell. It was the view I encountered each time I left my apartment (in fact, on Christmas morning, my child wanted to use her brand new skates, so we left the apartment to find a man had jumped up to the top of the 7 foot pile of trash and was bending over, digging thru the trash with his butt crack for all the world to see -- I have pictures of his butt crack if you'd like to see.) After complaining to the office, with no help, I eventually called the city and about a month or two later, the garbage bins were removed. Now, people just throw their trash in the general vicinity of the garbage bin area. So much better! (that's sarcasm).
4. I called the cops one night (the first time in my 28 years I have ever called the cops) because 2 people were sitting in a truck below my bedroom window, doing drugs. The cops came, bypassed the truck, the druggies noticed them, got out and ran. By the time the cops found the right vehicle, the people were long gone.
5. I have had a leaking air conditioner since I have moved in. The air conditioner works fine but water drips continuously from it, into the bath tub. I have put in 4 maintenance requests. Each time, someone has come out and "fixed" it. It still leaks. We don't even bother going into that bathroom anymore.
6. Now, I get to my final and biggest complaint of all! The reckless driving and loud music, at ALL HOURS. There are speed bumps thru the complex, but no one pays attention to them. It's ridiculous how fast people drive through there. And no matter what time of day it is (I've stayed up late, 2am or gotten up early for work, 6am) there is loud booming music coming from cars in the parking lot. It's gotten to be mere background noise, we are so used to it.
This is the trashiest place I have ever lived. I can't wait to leave. Freedom!

I am a resident that lives here in at The Pavilion and I find this review disturbing. And here is why..And traffic I have no idea where you are going to go live without a dumb ass speeding or having their music loud. My parents live in a nice area of Plano and people still drive crazy and fast in a residental area and play their music too loud. It is not the apartments issue. It is society today.

We've gotten notices on our door on reasons why the pool was closed for half the summer, we've gotten notices about a woman being attacked in the front office...BUT we have NEVER ONCE gotten a notice on our door reminding us to SLOW DOWN, WATCH for CHILDREN, and to keep our music at an acceptable level. The apartments are most assuredly responsible for their tenants. Furthermore, I've lived at quite a few apartments in the Arlington area and NOT A SINGLE ONE has the traffic, speeding and loudness problem like the Pavillion.

Don't make comments about situations you know NOTHING about. If you took the time to get to know the girls in the office, instead of only yelling at them you might have had a different perspective. The girl who was attacked was not attacked for any reason pretaining to the level of service in the office, and her attacker was a complete stranger, who was not legally residing at The Pavilion. Also, with the noise issue, I would be interested to know how you propose to solve the issue. Anywhere you have high density housing you can't expect it to be perfect, people make noise! If it's excessive the office people can send notes and talk to them, but if you clal the police it will probably solve the issue pretty quick. IF YOU DON'T LIKE SOMETHING, DO SOMETHING POSITIVE TO HELP THE SITUATION! What is a nasty letter on apartmentratings going to change? Seriously. Everyone knows the bulk of the raters are people who are upset about being kicked out, or had a situation that was blown way out of proportion...so you think you're stopping people from moving in? That'll make it better. Right.
