I moved to Arlington from Austin in 2005 and have lived in the Pavilion apartments ever since (first in a 3br/2ba with roommates and now in a 1br w/study/1ba by myself). I can't imagine a better place to live. There are two laundry facilities and all except one or two of the floorplans have W/D connections. The apartments are spacious and very well kept. The staff (although it has changed since I first moved in) is very friendly and the maintanence guys are super QUICK!!! As far as the gate comments go.... I have never had an issue with the gates being too loud or squeaky, and I live less than 150 feet away from one. Anytime there is an issue with the gates, they are ususally fixed within a matter of hours, unless the office has already closed. The covered parking space is super for any sort of bad weather, the gym is really convenient, and the new valet trash service is really cool! It is great for the money you pay and perfect for college students. If I had one thing to complain about, it would be the amount of storage space in the 1br w/study apartment and no ceiling fans in the living rooms. It's a dream compared to the price and space of the other complexes closeby. I have enjoyed my stay here and the only reason why I won't be here next year is because I'm buying a house. I would absolutely reccommend it to anyone.
