Very small and very old apartments. Cheap rent when we were there, but we soon realized why.
Noisy. We were near the pool.
A/C was horrible. It was a wall unit like you would have in a motel room. Apartment was a loft w/bedroom upstairs. Unimaginabley hot. Nothing done to fix it. We literally lived with friends all summer. Granted you could stay cool if you didn't mind paying more than your rent for electric bill.
At the end of our lease, we decided to live at Peppermill month to month, until we found something else. We put this in writing with the office. I don't know how they lost it, but the manager came to us two days before our original lease was up and said we were supposed to be out. We explained that we were paying and staying month to month. She did not concur with this and said she had already leased the place to someone else and we had to be out in two days. So, we were esentially homeless and had to find another apartment and move withing two days. Looking back, we should have stood our ground and stayed, but in the long run, were glad to be gone.
Very poor management and upkeep.
