I moved here since its close to campus, quiet, and looks nice. The 1B loft looked interesting with stairs up to an overlooking bedroom area. However as people have written its hot. There's no attic space and the roof seems to lack outside soffit and top vents. You're better off on the north side of the building. There's a ceiling fan upstairs but its been too hot to sleep up there in the summer...rather use a futon downstairs. They changed my wall unit A/C recently to a new one (within a few hours after the old one broke) which can easily cool the downstairs. Maybe the upstairs too with fans. Anyway it doesn't need much or any heating in the winter. The maintenance guy is pretty good, and the manager is good. The units aren't too crowded together but there aren't many trees. The unit inside is in good shape, the faucets and fixtures work well. There's no cross ventilation just windows on one side. The sound isolation is pretty good I haven't had much hassles.
