There is nothing bad with the location of these apartments at all. The loft apartments get a bit too hot during the summer but if you keep the fan on and the ac at 75 degrees you are good. To the person complaining about the bug problems ... dude.. come on you lived in this place for four years... how bad could it be. I've been here since the beginning of 08 and ive signed my second lease for a loft with the rent raised a little bit but then again.... there is an inflation going on the price for everything has gone up!!! The maintenance guys come in and spray every month I have seen them more than once on the property and when they spray my apt I can smell the bug spray. Theres a monthly news letter stating which day it happens so what if you arent informed everytime they come in as long as there has been nothing missing you should not care. One maintenance guy lives on property and the other one calls you asap when you page him. The manager doesnt force you to sign any lease man .. come on we're all grown adults here if it was that bad you would not have stayed here at all. Your rent wasnt raised while you had agreed to a lower rate on the lease. When you sign a new lease the apt manager can raise the rent for the new lease and it is then the tenants choice to sign the lease or not. Stop giving the manager a bum rap for being cautious and not letting you have your way all the time man . The pool is open during the summer and my frnds I have gone swimming in it alot of times. its just closed during the night. Ive not had any problems with cleanliness there the holes and everything have been fixed in the fence hey if you think the apt complex is bad abt the hole in the wall from the tree well some one should ----- about the tree stump still there to the city of Arlington!! its been over one year and that stupid tree stump is still there.... The gates were closed for less than two weeks and that too so that people get used to using the gates and get their keys. The new gates have been put in place and the residents have been given keys. The laundry room is locked at all times but only because when it was open some kids broke in and vandalized it. The gate key can now open it. Oh and the little notes we have hanging outside our doors every month that everyone overlooks are news letters which have bug spraying dates on them... this place is a good safe place to live.

Peppermill Apartments has a regular Pest Control once a month. We have an open door policy that entitles our residents to contact to office to report any problem in 6 different ways, 24 hours a day. If nobody complaints or tell us they are having any problem of any kind, we cannot do anything about it. If there is a pest problem in your apartment, you need to let us know so we can fix it. This is clearly stated on our regular Monthly newsletter as well as explained in extreme detail on our blog. Yes, we do have a blog for our residents where they can get up-to-date and the most beneficial information in detail. If there is a problem, we fix it. If we cannot, we hire professionals, which by the way, all of our maintenance personnel have certificates and training and over 10 years of experience on their related fields. There is not a bug problem on our property, there is an unreported bug problem in a few apartments and we are taking this issue seriously and working on it as I type this. In terms of Lofts are being, hot, yes they do get hot when it's really hot outside but there is a ceiling fan and an A/C unit in each apartment. If you circulate the air by running the fan, upstairs never get hotter than 80 degrees which you can bring it down by increasing the fan speed. To all future tenants at Peppermill Apartments, please stop by at our property and talk to our residents, it doesn't matter who they are, and they will tell you this is the most unique property around with residents are like a family members. Considering our residents stay an average of 10 years at our Flats, and 4 years at our Lofts, you can see how great place to live here.
