Providence was one of the worst places I have ever stayed. The staff were pretty unhelpful, most of the time. Sidney was the worst. Talk about rude' She takes the cake. Marlene was nice but I always got the impression that most of the time the office staff didn't really know what they were doing. Although the maintanence men were pretty nice guys, all of them, besides the Head maintanence man, really didn't know what they were doing. It took me EIGHT months of complaining to get certain things fixed. They said the carpet was new when I moved in but when I complained about stains, they said that I must have caused them. It was the day I moved in!I really could spend a whole day writing about what was wrong with the place. It has so much potential - gorgeous grounds, nice apartments, nice pools, a decent fitness center - but the staff were so desperate to fill apartments that they were leasing to idiot students who invited all their friends every weekend to trash the place. EVERYONE at UTA knows the gate code. It was voted number one place to live by the students. If that doesn't tell you something, what will' Early summer last year, there was a pitch battle outside of my apartment -I was unlucky enough to live by the second pool. I counted almost THIRTY people fighting as I called the police and had to watch in dismay as someone was thrown on top of my car (in covered parking) while a neighbor of mine got a nice head sized dent in his.The police now patrol the area but the students got sneaky. I eventually found a loop hole in my lease and moved out early. All in all, a pretty terrible experience from start to finish.

I beg to differ, Providence is the best place I have ever lived...and no, I'm not a student. We have lived in the complex for two years, and Sydney has never been rude. Marline is great as well. The complex did have some ladies that didn't know what they were doing last year, but they got rid of them and have staff that do not what is going on. Maintenance was bad when we moved in, but they got rid of the head maintenance guy that was most of the problem. The new head guy and Brendan are great at getting things done.
