A Decent Place To Get Things Sorted Out

I lived in Remington Meadows for one year, from 2005-2006.
The Good:

The Price was great! I just switched jobs and was making less money than before, so the low $400/month rent was awesome. It gave me a chance to get back on my feet again and get things sorted out.
The swimming pools were clean and well maintained.
The Complex Grounds are well kept, dumpsters are emptied frequently.
Free Covered Parking.
Free Washer and Dryer Set.
Target Gift card! I signed a 1 year lease and received a $500 Target Gift Card.
Helpful Staff: Initially they were kind of hard to deal with, but after living there a while and getting to know them, they were very helpful. They would call me when a maintenance request was completed.
Unlimited supply of hot water. They use a central boiler and do not sub-meter.
I never had any problems with crime or burglaries.
Close to Remmington Square/Ball Park Area of Arlington -- plenty of shops, restaraunts, and things to do (starbucks is on the other side of the fence).
The complex would also distribute a flyer every month to let residents know what was going on.
The Bad:

My dryer was really old and I complained about it not working at least 5 times. It took RM 5 months to replace the dryer, but they did replace it with a brand new unit.
The complex is older, so your appliances are circa 1985. Not necessarily a bad thing, but something to be mindful of when looking.
There were a lot of kids that lived next to me making noise and smoking weed. I reported them to the staff and I never heard much noise again from that unit.
The complex is in close proximity with a train that can be heard throughout the night.
The complex is in close proximity with another complex that is not so good. There were loud parties across the fence, etc.
