For the most part it's not a bad place to live. However the water/sewer bill has gone up a lot over the course of a year. The appliances need updating and I have called maintenance countless times for my a/c and they merely put a "band-aid" on the situation instead of replacing it. It's really a toss up but Arlington is going down hill all together and this is one of the few decent places left.
