this complex has the worst management i've ever had to deal with. i dont even know where to start. the first month i moved in i was supposed to get my first month free but when i got home i found an eviction notice on my door. the maintenance sucks. it took them a week to come to my apartment to fix my a/c and then another two days to fix the toilet. despite the police presence, there continues to be a rediculous amount of crime. not too long after i moved in there was a crime scene in front of my door where someone was killed. my car has been broken into multiple times and nothing was done about it. im currently in a dispute with the incompentance of the staff. i gave them my 60 day notice on time prior to moving out and i come to find out that i get rejected because i didn't turn in my notice. turns out that they "misplaced" my notice and now im stuck in this god forsaken place for another 2 months. i personally told one of the staff there and she wanted to act like she never saw me before. so if you like getting screwed in the butt then runningbrook is the perfect place for you. if not then dont bother. LOOK AWAY

it sounds to me that your upset because you did not follow your procedures of your lease!I am pretty sure your the cause of the police presence on the property.You live there two years it couldnt have been that bad.

to the first response woman (like it didnt know who it was) is an idiot because she obvoiusly didnt read what i said. i never had the police near my door and i didnt live there for 2 years. since you think you have all the facts though, you might want to explain why you have children picking up the trash around the property because i think that violates child labor laws

Living at this property was like living in a gang war. It is right next to another apartment complex with frequent night time riots that make it a hazard to leave home after dark. I saw hoodlums set fire to the laundry room and guess what? Nothing happened. This place is great if you want to live like a 1980's stereotype lazy gangster. Roaches, drugs, non-existent maintanence and crime. Just avoid this place at all costs. pool is nice though . . . when its open.

Lived here for nearly two years... NOT BY CHOICE.. i simply have not had anywhere else to go. I have to admit, my neighbours are not the problem. I actually have very nice polite neighbours. My problem is with the staff. LAZY LAZY LAZY!!!! My A/C Broke it took two weeks before i finally cornered the maint. guy and he finally came by after arguing with me that i had not called to get it serviced... which I DID more than SIX times. When i first moved in there was a different management company, the staff seems to be getting progressively worse. Bad attitude, rude and even bitchy! Wont let you get a word in and then treats you like you are her efin dog that peeps on her carpet instead of a tenant. In nearly two years i have never been late with my rent. Then a few months ago there was a mix up at work and my pay has been getting mixed up with another co-worker. So i had to hand in my rent on the date the lease stated was the very last opportunity day before being charged a late fee... well all hell broke loose.. that manager treated me like the worse scum in the work, and even though i paid the efin late fee she still sent a notice (wich she later denied) telling me to pack my things and leave. ?!?!?! Horrible experience! I mean this place is suppose to be a LOW Income community and they raise the rent the MAX allowed by law each year. Lastly if you do go here to rent dont get fooled by the DEALS... they are all a LIE, I was promised before moving in that the utilities were included in the rent.. --------! NOTHING IS FREE AND NOTHING IS INCLUDED .. you will pay for it all! One of the ladies in the office is very nice, but seems to be affraid of losing her job so she just lets all this crap slide (trader!) In my opinion the one that lets it happen out of fear is just as guilty as the one doing it! She was one of the ones that was there when i first came by there and told me herself that all the utilities were included except the washer and dryer.. not that she will ever admit it! Lastly, Yes its true, there are always kids running around, knocking on your door and running away and my car has been broken into twice but i never leave anything in there anymore! Like i said my next door neighbours are very nice, but the staff is rude and lazy as can be. I hope they get audited !! Maybe then they will find that money order they claim in never gave to them, unfortunately i threw my copy of the reciept away by accident.
