Towing Scam! BEWARE!

My friend lives in this apartment, and has lived there for the past 7 months. The parking in this dump is the biggest scam in Texas. I came to her apartment for the first time to drop off dinner for her. (This was at night) I was there for a total of 30-45 minutes. I parked in a uncovered, unmarked spot in front of her building. I walk outside to leave and my car is missing... I'm like great, it's stolen... Come to find out, my car was TOWED. I'm like, huh''' Is this a joke''' I walk over to the parking spot it was in, to double check and make sure it was not in a handicap, or numbered, or reserved parking, and nope, it was NOT. Come to find out, she has had her car towed 2 times, and another one of her friends had her car towed by this apartment complex. There is a small little sign, with no lighting on the front gate that says: "Visitors must park in visitor parking or be towed, Towing enforced at all times, etc., etc." I ask her where the 'Visitor parking' is and she shows me, which is about 10 spots up by the leasing office (pretty far from her building). Everyone of the signs that say 'Visitor Parking" are turend backwards so you cannot see them. This is a BIG complex and that is the ONLY parking and 'signage' to let your 'Visitor' know where to park'' I paid to get my car out of the Auto Pound, and asked the lady who towed my car, and she told me that the 'towing company' which owns the auto pound has a CONTRACT with the owners of Rush Creek apartment complex!!!!!! Hmmm... coincedence'' (My friends car was towed the first time because she has a resident sticker that expired 'October 2006' they towed her car October 2, 2006 because they told her the sticker was 'expired', whats funny is the sticker says October 2006, there is no day of the month on the date! She showed me the sticker. And she is one of their residents!!!) THIS PLACE HOUSES A PARKING SCAM, THEY ARE CONTRACTED WITH A TOWING COMPANY, AND MAKE LOTS OF MONEY TOWING RESIDENTS AND THEIR VISITORS CARS FOR RIDICULOUS REASONS!!! I've lived in an apartment for 2 years, and never had anything like this happen!
