This property has rapidly deteriorated over the years. I moved There in 1992 and only stayed because I work two jobs and was rarely there. This place is a dump. My roof leaked for 3 years before they were able to fix it properly after 6 supposed attempts. It began to leak again and was never fixed. I lived with a broken window for 2.5 years and called in 28 times before it was repaired. Every maintenence problem reported had to be called in at least twice. My closet andd patio doors have never worked properly. Crime is a serious problem at these apartments. We had weekly auto burgurlies and many assault and substance related incidents. There were at least 2 registered sex offenders living at this complex. (Amber Hagermans body was found in a nearby creek)
A woman here was stabbed 22 times. You cannot park near your building after 6 pm . at times you must park clear in the back and walk a long way to get home. The Adjacent properties are known for housing drug dealers and gang members. Many of the residents did not speak English so it was difficult to develop relationships with my neighbors. Our mailboxes were broken into on several occasions. We had to retrieve our mail from the post office for an extended period of time. When I had questions for the manager she was "never available" and when messages were left my calls were not returned. The Tipton Group is a poorly run property management company staffed with incompetent employees. As a Christ Follower I rarely criticize others however I am doing the public a favor by warning you before you move here. Stay Away From Southern Hills !!! bYr9ljUwtCbMRXE8dRDC
