One of the most horrendous places EVER...

I lived there for 2 years because I couldn't afford to move at the time and it was pure hell. It wasn't that bad when I first moved in, but then the management kept changing- I swear there was someone new every month for a while. The gates were always broken and left open for months before they were fixed, which only lasted a day. The fencing across the back of the complex (where my porch faced) was constantly being broken out so people could come and go as they pleased.
The noise was horrible! Constant domestic disputes going on- I had to call the police several times on the guy upstairs from me because he was beating the hell out of his girlfriend(s). When I complained to management, they looked all sympathetic and said "I know, I'll do something about it." and it carried on continuously. He even set my porch on fire by knocking over a candle during an arguement and the management STILL did nothing. I must admit, the best part was the night the woman next door locked her man out- he backed his truck up to her second floor balcony and since he couldn't reach the ledge to pull himself up, he got a hammer out of the bed of his truck and destroyed the balcony slats only to continue by shattering the glass patio door to get in. Management didn't evict them either- just did a cheap looking job to patch up the damage and called it a day.
There were also the car parties at all hours of the night. The police came to break those up for a while, but they stopped answering calls after a few months. I could go on for days about how horrific this place is, but I digress.
There was one good thing about the place though. The pidgeons that decided to move into and breed in my patio laundry closet were quite entertaining.

Well.. the problem is Arlington has no cops. If you see one take a picture. It will be a while before you see another one.
