This place has really gone downhill

I'm sorry, but when I moved here, the office staff and management was fine, repair requests went through in a timely manner, etc. In the last 4-6 months, the liklihood that a maintenance request will go through before two weeks have passed is quite low. A few months ago, in the summer, both my AC and fridge were broken at the same time. Over the course of a month, I complained about both of these things multiple times, both in writing and on the phone, and they waited so long to fix them that literally all the food in my fridge and freezer spoiled. They did replace the fridge with an older one, and compensated me for a small portion of what went bad, but I still lost a lot of money, and it was so inconvenient. Then, with the AC breaking in the hot month of August, I had to try and sleep in 90 degree heat, and I was greeted by a $430 electric bill for a 700-square-foot apartment. And by the way, if I could offer one tip, NEVER go with Green Mountain Energy, it's highway robbery. I would also say that although I have liked the layout of my apartment, the area is crime-ridden and the staff and management have been nothing but hard to deal with.

I agree with the Green Mountain Energy issue. I lived there for one year and did not pay a dime in electricity during that summer. Come to find our Green Energy was billing another apartment there for my usage. I do feel bad for that tenate, I was never able to find who or what apartment it was. Green Mountain would not release that infomation to me. This was during the summer of 2003.
