The apartment managers has been MIA for the last two months. The pool was closed for the entire month of May, due to lack of maintenance. Still, whenever I go swim, I'm ususally sick afterwards for a few days. Haven't been to the pool in about 4 weeks. Also, a bunch of teenage kids have moved in with mustangs with loud exhausts. They rev them up for about 30 minutes in the morning. As in... 6:30 in the morning. I guess before they go to school. The maintenance staff is non-existent. The security gates NEVER work. I came up last weekend at 2:30 AM from hanging with my friends only to find a gang of black guys sitting on two Impalas with their sub-woofers booming. A third one was slowly creeping through the complex. There have been recent attacks of residents by homeless people. They've even sent out fliers warning people. I think they're trying to turn this place around, it's just too little too late. They've gone through several different office personnel in the last few months. Insulation in my apartment is non-existent. I spent $400 on electricity for a single bedroom apartment last month, because the heat seaps through the walls. Sometimes, there's even condensation on the walls. Like I said earlier, don't expect maintenance to do anything about it.

The St. Andrews Apartments are a member of the Texas Apartment Association. It has been our experience that often negative comments posted on this website are by residents who have been evicted for nonpayment of rent or other lease violations, or who have never actually lived on the property, or by competitors. Be cautious in assuming the truthfullness of postings by anonymous persons who refuse to disclose their identity. We recommend that visiting with current residents onsite is a more reliabele method of obtaining third-party opinions about our apartment community and its management.
