Not a good place to live - Stay Away!

I see that management responds to all the posts the same - all the negatives are left by bad residends. I think the opposite, all the good reviews are left by management. YOU CANNOT LIKE THIS PLACE! The construction was horrible! I always got wind and rain in the appartment. The gates were constantly broken, and once my car got stuck and damaged by the malfunctioning gates. YES, management, you can track me down by looking through your files, I had reported this accident. The problem was that NO ONE came in to help when I called an emergency number.
Here's another clue on who I am, dear management. You should have a record of someone trying to enter my appartent at night.
The biggest problem is the management. They all smiles when you sign the contract, but if something needs to be done, they just don't respond! Period. They just don't come and don't fix, and don't help. That's the worst management I've had in many many appartments that I've rented. At the very end, after I moved out, they asked for additional $137 for carpet cleaning and houskeeping, but they wouldn't give me the walkthrough document, which would explain why they were charging me extra. I was writing back and forth with their management in California, because the local management refused to talk to me about it, and are planning to take them to cort. After all I had to go through in this appartment, this was just icing on the cake.

The St. Andrews at River Park Apartments are a member of the Texas Apartment Association. It has been our experience that often negative comments posted on this website are by residents who have been evicted for nonpayment of rent or other lease violations, or who have never actually lived on the property, or by competitors. Be cautious in assuming the truthfullness of postings by anonymous persons who refuse to disclose their identity. We recommend that visiting with current residents onsite is a more reliable method of obtaining third-party opinions about our apartment community and its management. I think it is interesting enough that almost every time I see a communities management or corporate management reply to somethign like this, it is almost a cut & paste reply sating "Don't believe the negatives, they were bad tenants who were probably evicted"....nice spin with damage control. Too bad people don't really listen to the management when they use a copied and canned reply like this.

I 100% agree with essex23. just because we want to remain anonymous, who cares. but if someone wants to know how bad this place is, i will give you my name and number. just ask!! please!!!! we were not evicted and were never late and i am not a competior but nice try. how stuiped. a competior. ha ha. why doesnt management just say something like this... yes we were wrong. we made a couple of mistakes. but we have since fixed our mistakes and are sorry. dont try to cover it up by saying those people were bad residents or evicted. just admit you were wrong. is that so hard for YOU?
