AFTER BEING HERE FOR 2 YEARS, GETTING OUT ON THE DUE DATE I STILL WAS CHARGE A RELETTING FEE. THE FIRST MANAGER WAS AWESOME. RECENTLY THEY WERE BOUGHT OUT AND A DUMB ------ NAME ----- --------- LIKES TO CHARGE YOU RIDICULOUS CHARGES AFTER YOU MOVE OUT ON THE DUE DATE. I DID NOT TERMINATE MY LEASE NOR DID I MISSED ANY PAYMENTS. GET THIS THE RELETTING FEE IS $600! ALMOST THE AMOUNT OF THE RENT. THEY LIST ALL SORT OF CHARGES INCLUDING WAS 4BAGS OF TRASH FOR $200. BUT IT ALL ADDS UP TO $1004. DO NOT MOVE IN! YOU GET JIPPED AT THE END. MY RENT WAS ONLY $680. TAKE A LOOK. IM GOING TO SUE THE F**K OUT OF THEM!

No kidding. That stupid ------ did the same to me. My reletting fee was $597. The ------ stated I still owe 3 days of rent that equals to $70. She stated she sent a notice at my door. In which i never recieved. So I called today and the ho' said its too late to make any payments or to negotiate anything cus she sent it to the collection agency. I didnt get a notice or a letter until yesterday. When i returned the keys I told them if there was anything I need to do call me. The dumb ------ said ok and never even called once. IF she did I wouldve took care of it right away. I never was late on anything.... This couldve easily been resolved if the dumb ------ called. My mails were all forwarded to me on Feb. 3rd, which was my moved out date.
they're not willing to work with you on anything. ------ give me your attorney's name too.

Best of luck with the law suit! They need it. They charged us all sorts of crap when we moved out a year ago (not a reletting fee, thank God... but still) and we were never late on rent (which reminds me, they cashed our post-dated check the day after we gave it to them... of course they assured us that they wouldn't cash it... when we were going out of town and the money wasn't due for two weeks... overdrew us at the bank... still nothing we could do about it) and extended our lease for a month to month until we could move into our house. We had to pay for trash fees and some other stuff that we had never seen. They relented by saying they posted notices on the door all three times, but we never saw them. So either they never really posted them or they blew away. Either way, they accused us of it being our fault. These people really get me on my soap box. Best of luck!

There has to be something we can do we should have rights to. What happen to customer is always right? I learned when you move out you need to send a certified letter requesting they do a walk through with you so that way they cant lie and cheat you out of money. I just signed another lease for 1 year for personnel reasons. And I hate it here.
