These apartments are ok to live in although they are surrounded by some really ghetto complexes. A woman was killed in the complex next to us, our rent drop box was broken into and some residents had to cancel rent checks and rewrite new ones, oh and our mailbox was broken into so the management had to get them replaced. We have to take our outgoing mail to the office or the post office. The office staff is nice but they don't do anything about noise complaints. The manager, Matt, has an attitude and will try to tell you everything is your fault. The apartments arent all that great. They need some updating. Expect your electricity bill to be sky high. The air units are old and run constantly. They water the grass 24/7 and half the time the water in your apartment will be turned off for no reason. When the water does work, it spurts out of the faucet and is nasty looking. I dont get why we pay for water here. The lights on my building dont work half the time so I have to walk up and down 3 flights of stairs and hope I dont fall and break my neck or get mugged by someone in the beezeway. Oh and last but not least, the electricity will flicker off and on periodically. Like I said, these apartments need some updating. I will be moving at the end of my lease.

I have to disagree with a lot of what this person had to say. Yes, these complaints are true but it seems to me maybe the complaint about noise could be being addressed and parent's are doing nothing about it. I personally have experienced that. As for the lighting, I don't know what building you live in but I feel very safe with the lighting in my building. Matt, is very easy to get along with and I have to say the office and maintenance departments both have worked to accomodate problems in my apartment. So, if you are looking for an apartment in the Arlington/Kennedale area The Trails is definitely the best.
