If you need to be in this area, these are great apartments. Grounds are well kept, pool, volleyball and tennis court, several outdoor BBQ grills, and a gym that doesn't completely suck (like my last apartment).
Management is friendly and tries to help you out--they're only human, so give them a chance.
My apartment faces to the parking lot, so i get the odd car-honking in the morning and late evening and car alarms, but you'll get that in any apartment complex.
My only complaint is that the place is not particularly convenient to get to (you have to drive a mile down the service road to the main intersection, and it's probably 3 miles before you even get onto I-20), but I should have thought about that before i moved in.
What you do get is a decent apartment for the price.
