I live in a 3rd floor studio (efficiency) apartment, and I thought that with such a small square footage, my electric bills wouldn't be that bad, but last month, my electric bill was $200!!!! I could not believe my eyes since I barely keep the air on during the day and yes, I know the temps are higher now in the summer, but last year, I lived in a first floor studio and only paid $90 for my electric bill!! Apparently, its due to the vaulted ceiling, but I installed a ceiling fan AND i have a standing fan going all time time and I still cannot believe I am paying $200 for a studio while I have friends who pay only $60 for an entire HOUSE!

Besides that, I like the quietness of the 3rd floor apartment and I think the management is doing the best they can. They always get any household problems fixed ASAP and are always helpful and cheery when I do deal with them.

If you are thinking of moving here, definitely look into an aparment in the back, facing the "greenery". Its much more quieter although I do notice a drop in the "quality" of residents, with more youngsters driving loud cars with music blasting late at night. lGjq8RUBjvsZjkb5ueji
