I agree with the poster directly below mine. The Verandahs are nice apartments for what you pay. Unlike a previous complex I lived at (where they turned off my electric "on accident" and "accidentally" lost my and about 200 others' rent checks), these apartments are great! I have lived here for just over a year now. The only time I've ever really noticed noise was when I have my windows open and even then, the noisest thing I hear is usually the air conditioners, not people!

I love all the trees on the property. It's like a little getaway from the city. ...And if that weren't enough, River Legacy Parks are within walking distance. I like the fact that these apartments are not a huge complex. Also, as a female, I feel safe at these apartments. The staff, for the most part is helpful and friendly and there are still some of the same staff members that were here when I moved in over a year ago. I have, on occasion, come in and the staff was less personal, but I didn't take offense to it and figured it must have been a hectic day. (After all, they are only human.)

I would agree with a previous comment about the maintenance crew being slow to make repairs. I have a window that leaks--it's only leaked once, a little when it was pouring down rain and the wind was gusting it in the direction of the window, but it was still a leak that the apartment maintenance people have never investigated it.

Overall, I am happy living here. :)
