As many of you know or dont know we have a new management team at the Verandahs. I have formerly met with most of the new staff along with the new property manager and I am very impressed with what I have seen so far!!! Saturday the staff threw a party for all residents and it was very nice ( this is something they use to do when I first moved in). We have alot of room for improvement here but remember this our old management was here for about a year and a half so our new team will not be able to fix everything overnight but have displayed the concern to make things right. For us long timers here we must do all we can do to support this new team so they can be successfull!!!

Whatever!! I'll believe it when I see it.. the freaking gate has been broken for the past 3 days and no one seems to really care... see how things are looking up!!??

3 days??? the gate was broke sometime Saturday night or Sunday morning at 11:30 am Sunday one of our maintenance staff was out there working on it so that I believe is a pretty dang quick response!! Rome was not built overnight!!! And the sorry excuse of a property manager that we use to have along with her staff really mucked things up here!!! This will take some time to correct!!! patience is needed at this time not negativity!!! Give them a chance!!

not only that they have security in the gaurd shack now checking people as they come in. so far i see improvement and i like what i see. when my son was scheduled to have a B day party on the day the office was throwing a party for the residents (i forgot abou the residents party) i called the office in a panic and the new manager gave me permission to take over the indoor pool and the ammenities down there. they seem to really be making an effort to clean this place up. give it some time. and as far as complaining about a gate being broken, think about it mechanical things break, someone has to order parts and fix it. that may take some time if its on a weekend. but honestly i do not recall the gate being open for more than a day. *chavos wife*

You must be blind then, the inbound gate hasn't worked in over a week, there are cars on blocks / tires that haven't moved in 3 months, the "guards" at the shack just sit there and surf the web / read. I've never seen them exit that shack to verify residency unless they get honked at by someone without a card. Wake up and look around. They give you the perception of "better living" with a guard in the shack but in all reality that's all it is, perception, nothing has changed. How about getting sent an eviction notice 2 months in a row when my rent was paid on the 31st, check cleared AND I had a receipt from the office. All they could say was "whoops" and when I told them to give me something in writing telling me that the eviction was a mistake they refused until I called the Attorney General's Office right in front of the manager.
