I am a former employee at VDM, now that I no longer work there but still live here I can respond to comments made. If you are looking for a nice place to live in the Mansfield School District, close to shopping, banking, the mall and good places to eat Villa is close to all of them. The property is well maintained, well manicured and priced reasonably.

We have always known who the person is that posts all the bad comments. This resident moved in and bounced his deposit check before he even moved in, then bounced 3 more checks within a 6 month period. He had an ant problem and we tried everything to get rid of them, it turned out he was spraying his own remedies and causing the problem to get worse, at the time, we did not know that he was spraying his own stuff (this is why our professional treatments were not working) he was offered a transfer to another apartment by the manager for the same rate with a concession for his inconvenience and he declined. He is bitter because he was wrong and wrote bad check and wants to blame someone else, it's okay stuff like that happens in customer service. The manager does go by the book and has policies she has to follow and higher up's she has to answer to just like any of us who work for someone else.

The resident that writes all these negative reviews has referred two other people to live here and they have never complained, I think they know he is just an unhappy person, this is his way of retaliating for his financial mistakes and trying to blame others for not balancing his check book correctly. He needs to acknowledge that he made a mistake and just like any other business there are consequences when you write bad checks and pay your bills late.

Please do not let his reviews influence you, visit the property and decide for yourself, if you decide not to live there okay, but don't let this guy and his low self esteem influence your decision.

I am glad I got to write this and let others know what is really going on.

Don't be surprised if you read more bad stuff, he will respond, I am sure.

While I am NOT a resident and I'm sure it's a nice place however, I know someone personally that works for terminix and says that all they do is make it worse so they can keep coming back to get money. Raid is actually the thing that works. Just so you know!

I was the original writer of that review until it was chosen to flag for removal, which it was removed. Please feel free to read that review and read this one as well! Enjoy! The one who rewrote that review is "BUSTED!" There are several lies spread within this review. Take a look for yourself! Oh and yes this is the person that you wrote about. Lie 1. I have only written one review on here, which you did have it removed. Well o.k. if you want to get technical, this review that I am posting now is my 2nd. Lie 2. So if I as you say wrote a bad check for my first check and then 3 more, then how did you accept other checks? I though your policy states that you aren't allowed to write anymore checks after the first bad one. Hmmm that's a mystery! Lie 3. Yes one check "the first one was bounced, but that was due to bank error and if you remember correctly, the bank sent written proof that they had made and error and they did pay for the mistakes that they made. I still have a copy of that letter. Lie 4. The Raid that we used got rid of the ants for 4 months. This was after yes you did tell me not to use it and as well you informed that if we did use it then the ants would multiply. So does this mean that Raid acts as a faramone and the ants then start jumping into one big orgy while let's get it on plays and then they start popping out millions of babies? Hmmm that's also a mystery! Lie 5. the 2 people that I reffered to here can't stand you! One of these postings was written by her. That was because you treated her like crap. Lie 6. Yes you did offer for me to move to another apartment at the same rate, however the only concession that was made was for me to pay to move myself and also to pay, yes "another deposit!" Might I add well you did probably tell me the truth about one thing. Does this sound familiar? "I mean how sure are you that the other apartments won't have ants? You sure you don't want to just break your lease and be done with this?" Well you possibly did tell the truth there. There probably were ants there as well. Thanks for saving us the headache in that! For those that read this. Be careful of the lies spread on here that try to show the people that live here to be the bad guys. Residents 1 VDM 0 p.s. Oh and just wondering, if you are a "former employee" of VDM, then why are you posting something on here? Most people that quit a job never have anything to do with it after, because they hated it there. Just wondering
