I live at VDM and I'm thinking about breaking my lease too! Ready to get out of this place. Its too close to the damned Skatium where the lil hoodrats wanna come over here after they close Sunday nights and shoot up the parking lot like its a damned gangsta rap video! And yes the MANAGER is a RAGING -----. I think everyone in the office are complete idiots. If you have a problem, you have to stay on them to get your issue fixed. Once they hang up the phone, your problem is forgotten about. They won't work with you AT ALL! If you move in, you better have really good luck to hope you don't have to talk to the office about anything. Including a broken light bulb. There are break in's. The gates are broken half the time and will stay that way for a few days. I just wonder how hard they are going to bend me over after I move out for excess charges for nonsense.
Also, there are is no security here. You have a problem, you have to call the police. or you're SHhhhh outta luck. I had less problems living in a all bills paid ghetto apt in North Richland Hills. Thats sad!

hey dumb S#@!! You live in Arlington. Look around you. This is not Plano. Arlington is what it is. YOu are somewhat of an idiot for wasting all of our time writing this review, just because you are bitter and maybe you should go back to NRH. Sounds like you belong.

I am a former resident, and this is completely true!!! And to whoever wrote the first response, I think you are the dumb one! Arlington can be a nice place to live if parents were raising their children right! But besides the crappy area, the whole thing about VDM is true. The manager stinks! The gates are always broke, they should cut the cost because of that! They are useless!

I have a friend that lives there and can not wait to get out of the lease. Everything is true. I think the people posting how good it is or retorts to posts are obviously the apartment staff. The bad reviews fit to a T what i have heard about sylvia.
