i have lived here about two years, and i must say i'm wildly excited about leaving. the staff is ecstatic to have you sign the dotted line so they can get their nice commission check, but once you are handed the keys...it's a violent down hill ride of a stay.
they love to raise rent prices after you've been there a year, even though when you first sign they tell you that you'll have no problem keeping your same low rate, as long as you sign for a year. my theory on this is that the sales tards get paid more based on the longer amount of time you agree to live there.
another complaint i have about villa del mar is that when you call to report something that needs to be fixed in your apartment, they seem about as concerned to help you as that mcdonalds drive thru person is in getting your correct. bottom line...it takes several calls to the office to get anything done. yes the manager here is very rude, as well as their accountant lady. watch out for this lady named silvia, she can play nice, but she IS a nasty one.
PLEASE DO NOT RENT AN APARTMENT HERE. I HAVE HAD SEVERAL OTHER TENANTS HERE TELL ME SIMILAR EXPERIENCES AS WHAT I HAVE MENTIONED ABOVE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

OMG, spare us with all of your drama. I can tell how crazy you are just from your review. Do all of us a favor and get a life. Good luck with whereever you go. No one will ever "keep" you at the same rent. Um hello. you sound like a pretty sever"tard" in your own right.

I am a former resident, who wishes I had never moved in, for the EXACT same reason! Whoever this person is, who wrote the first response to this....I'm guessing you're some pet to them! "OMG", you have no right to say that this person who had this experience is wrong! Whoever reads this, truth be know....it is EXACTLY how this review is! Stay clear from this place, and Sylvia for that matter, even if you do not rent here, I am sure she is just a hurt wounded person who will take out anything and everything on anyone she comes across!
