Most people that visit ApartmentRatings.com usually have a bone to pick with their complex; I'm no different as my first review was fire and brimstone. This is my 2nd review on this site and I have to say that my stay at VDM was, for the most part, pleasant.
Yes, there are ants. Small ants. They will still remain even if your space is immaculate. The complex does however offer one free visit annually if I'm not mistaken.
The staff is adequate. It took a few months to draw up a renewal but they had made haste in other regards of an important nature. Not the friendliest bunch in the world either.
The location is a double-edged sword. Cooper has numerous businesses, stores, resturants at your fingertips. Good luck getting there on the weekends as the traffic congestion can be HORRENDOUS. There are soccer fields across the street. Its infuriating having to drive out the exit gate of the apartment only to have to sit behind 40 other vehicles at the light because a game just ended.
The pool can be super-congested at times. People will mix and mingle in the hot tub til the wee hours of the morning so be weary of leasing near that area.
There was only 1 laundry room that I knew of and it had only 4 washers/4 dryers. Maintenance was not always timely in repairing/upkeep of machines.
Overall, satisfied but not impressed considering the price.

...Huh? What exactly was the purpose of your response? Yeah, I wrote out some of the problems I observed and experienced at VDM. You state this. We seem to be on the same page. Then you go into some rant about how lonely I am...there seems to be a lot of misplaced anger here, my friend. Why don't you sign off and do something productive with that hostility? Burning yourself with lit cigarettes or hurting small animals doesn't count.

Ummm hold up, you are saying all of this negative stuff about the place and stating how much it sucks. Do you enjoy being treated like crap? Just wondering. If you do, you found the perfect place. Glad you've made friends with all the little ants. It must feel really lonely to be you.
